Many friends asked me about the way to visit my village. A Journey of Diversity & Inclusion

A Journey of finding your career goal!

我深深覺得因全球化時代來臨，全世界的年輕人都有更寬廣的職涯機會，但隨之而來的困擾是如何選擇你的職涯目標與如何定義你的人生。雖然經過教改，台灣的教育體制還是比較僵化，少有學生在國中高中就能清楚說出將來的夢想與職涯目標。

從高中到大學是人生非常重要的階段，大家都很清楚我們的高中生是如何選擇大學與科系的。我們的高中課程排滿滿的，下課時已是五六點有時還要去補習，高中生那有時間與空間思考與嘗試他的未來！？所以大部份的人都是以聯考的分數來決定學校與科系，如果不滿意那就到補習班苦讀花一年時間重考。由這種方式來決定年輕人的未來，當然會產生許多缺乏學習熱誠的大學生。

從前在工作中會在亞洲與許多歐美主管接觸，發現他們有很多人對亞洲的瞭解非常深入，私下交流發現他們是在高中畢業或就業前都會以背包客的方式壯遊，難怪他們有見識，成熟又有視野！

~~ＧＯ！來去芬蘭上課~~的作者陳聖元，今年暑假回到芬蘭小鎮與當年的高中同學敘舊，拜訪許多好朋友，隨著他們生活、工作、玩樂，享受夏天。發現芬蘭的高中生畢業後，很少人直接上大學，而是利用畢業後的一兩年間，體驗人生。嘗試不同的打工、到短期學院進修自己的興趣、出國遊學等等。他們不急著定位自己。藉由所謂的Gap year好好想清楚自己要的是甚麼？下一步怎麼走？

於是我鼓勵台灣的高中生與他們的父母要協助他們透過行動找到自己的人生方向。這“行動“包含：打工，旅行，閱讀或交換學生等。甚至可以高中休學一年或是考完上大學後休學一年去打工或是當背包客＿可以在台灣或出國！透過”行動實踐“相信對將來的學習會產生很大的影響。
