Randy McAlister

Few weeks ago, I got Randy's notes from LinkedIn. I was surprised that we still get connected after many years. Randy was our Head of Global Talent Management in Novartis. He left our company many years ago for his own career.
He noted : My new passion is "hot rodding" ala American Graffiti. I have been building and restoring a "Pro-Street" 1950 Ford Business Coupe for the past four years. It has a 315 Cleveland engine that has been modified and all new underpinnings, including a/c, p/s, disc brakes, etc. The wife and I enjoy taking it on the car show circuits in the summers. I attached pictures of it for you.
Other than that, Randy have a consulting business to keep him occupied. www.rdmglobalconsulting.com

I am looking forward to talking to him to know more about his life and new career. It is always good to talk to senior person and learn from Them.

In the year 2008 the world has witnessed an unprecedented amount of shifts and changes in corporate structures. All around us mergers and acquisitions are happening, corporate reorganization is taking place and many companies are firing more than they are hiring.
What kind of impact do mergers and acquisitions have on the structure and organization of involved corporations?

Corporate Emergency Management

I was invited to Taichung 榮總 to make a speech. The topic is Corporate Emergency Management. Departed from Taipei office around 3.35pm, took 4.00 pm High Speed Traing from Taipei Station and arrived Taichung around 4.50pm. Without the THSR, it will not make things so easy. The station looks quite busy, the THSR became very important for our life in Taiwan.
